Highlights Of The Indian Squads Announced By The BCCI For New Zealand And Australia Series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced the squads for the T20I and ODI series against New Zealand, as well as the first two Tests against Australia. While talented opener Prithvi Shaw has been called up for the T20Is against the Kiwis, on the other hand, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav have received their maiden call-up for the Test series.

Team India’s leading fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah continues to remain absent from international action. Ishan Kishan is included in the Test squad alongside fellow wicketkeeper-batter KS Bharat.

  • KL Rahul and Axar Patel are unavailable for the NZ series due to family commitments.
  • Ravindra Jadeja to make a comeback in the Test series against Australia (result to fitness).
  • Prithvi Shaw gets a recall in the T20I team.
  • Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan part of the test squad.
