Twitter Trolled Vijay Shankar Taking References Of Rayudu After He Lost It All In RCB vs SRH

In a contrasting tale told by the performance of two cricketers who fought desperately last year to clinch a national team spot for the 2019 World Cup, Ambati Rayudu came out in flying colours while Vijay Shankar went down in flames.
While Rayudu crafted a match-defining 71, ushering Chennai to a crucial victory in their IPL opener, Vijay Shankar took a hammering with the ball in the hand, before wringing out the prized scalp of Devdutt Paddikal. As he came out to bat, Yuzvendra Chahal sent him back for a golden duck with an impeccable delivery that flew through his defences, rattling the timber.
After Rayudu was left out for the previous World Cup, and Shankar was taken in for the number four spot, Rayudu sparked a severe controversy, tweeting, “Just Ordered a new set of 3d glasses to watch the world cup ??..”


It had its repercussions, India were eliminated in the semi-finals by New Zealand and peace was settled. Unfortunately, it seemed that Twitter did not forget the ugly past. As Shankar failed to deliver in his team’s opener, Twitteratti tore him open with humiliating tweets. Here are the top ten tweets that embarassed Shankar ober a forgetful night.

The venom simply didn’t stop. It kept on coming as a tweet read, “#AmbatiRayudu deserved place in Indian team. He is much much better player than so-called 3-dimensional player Vijay Shankar.
