Royal Challengers Bangalore’s new team member, Aaron Finch is having a hard time in the ongoing season of the Big Bash League. After leading his team Melbourne Renegades to victory last season, Aaron Finch and his team have failed miserably this season to deliver a similar performance.
Aaron Finch’s team is currently at the bottom of the points table after losing all of its opening six games. They even kickstarted the league on a bad note, as Sydney Thunder thrashed them by six-wickets in the tournament-opener.
In the second game, Melbourne Renegades came up with a good performance however failed to cross the finishing line as they fell short of 11 runs while chasing the target of 197 runs. In the following game, Melbourne once again ended up on the wrong side of the result as they lost the game to Hobart Hurricanes.
In the fourth game, Renegades were defeated by Adelaide Strikers with 18 runs. The defeat against Strikers was followed by a six-wicket loss to Sydney Sixers in the fifth game. The sixth defeat has also ended Renegades’ chances of making it to the next stage.
Well, as hilarious as it may sound, but in the wake of their miserable defeat, many twitterati think that it’s the RCB connection that has brought bad luck to Aaron Finch and his side. As Aaron Finch was recently bought by RCB in the IPL 2020 auction, fans think that it is the reason behind Aaron Finch led the team’s disastrous performance.
Fans also made the connection with the fact that RCB had also lost their first six games in the last IPL, in the last season.
