“Dhoni finishes off in style. A magnificent strike into the crowd! India lift the World Cup after 28 years!” screamed Ravi Shastri on air. The finale of World Cup 2011 is still fresh in the minds of every cricket fan. Remembering the winning sixer from MS Dhoni’s bat and the commentary of Ravi Shastri at the winning moment still gives us goosebumps.

As MS Dhoni is celebrating his 15 years of international cricket today, social media was flooded with tweets and messages giving tribute to the former Indian skipper.

Former Indian cricketer turned commentator, Aakash Chopra also joined the league and revealed what he would have commentated if he was there at the commentary box during World Cup 2011’s final.

Well, a twitter user asked Aakash Chopra about his favorite moment from MS Dhoni’s  15 years of career. The twitter user had asked:

“Choprasaab…aapkaa favourite moment? Ek aisaa moment jispar aap phir se apne andaaz mein commentary Karnaa chaahenge #15yearsOFMSD “

Replying to which, Aakash Chopra wrote that his favorite moment was MS Dhoni’s last-ball six that India lift the prestigious World Cup after 28 years at the Wankhede Stadium. In his tweet, he also revealed what he would have commented if he was there at the commentary box instead of Ravi Shastri. He wrote:

“I wasn’t on commentary when Dhoni sealed it with a six. 2nd April 2011. I would’ve gone something like—धोनी का बल्ला घूमा…इस बार सिर्फ़ वानखेड़े नहीं पूरा देश झूमा। A night to remember. A player to cherish. #15yearsOFMSD,”

Well, it seems the fans didn’t like his commentary at all. Twitterati trolled him left, right and center and thanked the fact that he wasn’t doing the commentary that day.
