Twitterati React After Team India Suffered Their First Massive Loss Against New Zealand

Team India suffered their first brutal loss in the ICC world Test championship after they were demolished by New Zealand’s cricket team in the first of two test-match series in Willington. Before the match resumes on Day 4, Kane Williamson led the team only needed nine runs to outclass the world’s number one Test team by 10 wickets. The Kiwis are now leading the series by 1-0.
New Zealand’s bowlers dominated Team India throughout the series. The bowling trio of Trent Boult, Tim Southee, and debutant Kyle Jamieson gave India a nightmare with their impeccable performance as they bowled the team out below 200 runs in both the innings.
On Day 4, Tim Southee’s achieved another milestone as he went on to take his 10th five-wickets haul. He dismissed Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant, R Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah on Day 4 to complete his five-wicket haul. The Indian cricket team was bundled up for 191 runs.

Chasing a total target of only nine runs, Tom Blundell and Tom Latham walked out to take their team to the victory side.
With this win, the New Zealand’s cricket team take 60 points in the ICC World Test Championship’s table. This is the first time that Team India has lost points in the points table of the ICC World Championship cycle so far.
Earlier the Indian cricket team resumed their overnight stand of 144 runs for four in their second innings. Team India lost the wickets of Ajinkya Rahane and Hanuma Vihari after they have added only four runs to the total scores.
Soon, wickets of R Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah fell in quick successions only to make the Indian cricket team suffer their first defeat in the ongoing ICC world Test championship.

Rishabh Pant was the only batsman who looked positive in both innings, he also played the defensive game well curbing his natural instincts in the 1st innings. He looked matured in this test match. If Rahane didn’t run him out, he could scored a 50.
