WPL 2023: Smriti Mandhana Is Facing The Heat Of Trolls

While the Women’s Premier League kickstarted with a bang, things haven’t gone well with the Royal Challengers Bangalore Women skipper Smriti Mandhana so far in the tournament. The star batter, who was ropped in by the franchise for a record-breaking INR 3.40 crores, has been struggling to score runs with the bat. She has been a major flop with the bat in all her four outings so far.

Smriti Mandhana Is Struggling To Score Runs

Smriti Mandhana

A batter of Mandhana’s caliber has only achieved 80 runs this season at an average of 21.24, which is unjustifiably low. In addition to her batting skills, the player has struggled as the franchise’s skipper as well, having lost their last three matches.

Ahead of the season, there were a lot of expectations from Smriti, however, she hasn’t managed to live up to the expectations of the fans. The excitement has subsided and supporters are slowly beginning to express their disappointment with Mandhana’s continued streak of failures in the competition.

In her fourth game for RCB against UP Warriorz, Mandhana once again failed to perform with the bat and was dismissed for a meager score of 4 runs.

After her dismissal, fans on social media took to their Twitter and started trolling the RCB skipper left, right, and center. There were many who came up with hilarious memes and jokes while trolling the batter.
