David Miller Has Scored The Fastest T20I Hundred And Twitter Is On Fire

David Miller is also known as ‘Killer Miller’ for his incredible hitting skills. Miller is one of the strongest hitters of the ball in world cricket and this is the reason why he is a crowd favourite wherever he plays.

Millier is one of those cricketers who made a big impact in T20 cricket and then started playing other formats of the game. On Sunday (290h October 2017), Miller played one of the best innings of his life and scored the fastest every hundred in the history of T20I cricket.

Miller’s century is the first century from someone batting at no 5 in T20Is. The previous best was by New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson. Anderson had hit an unbeaten 94 against the same opposition, Bangladesh, in Mt Maunganui earlier this year.

Miller scored  31 off the 19th over of the innings – bowled by Mohammad Saifuddin – with five sixes in the first five balls. He missed out on six maximums after skewing the final shot to the cover boundary for one.

A look at the quickest T20I hundreds:
35 balls – David Miller
45 balls – Richard Levi
46 balls – Faf du Plessis/ KL Rahul
47 Balls – Aaron Finch/Chris Gayle
