One of the best things that came out of India’s match against the Australians yesterday was the emergence of Hardik Pandya and the hot streak that he seems to have caught off late.
The youngster was able to hit a valuable 83 runs for the Indian team as they broke the shackles to post a massive 281. This was after they were struggling at 83-5 at one point. The Baroda batsman played along the former Indian captain Dhoni as India managed to consolidate.
The innings did not go unnoticed as a lot of fans, both popular and common celebrated the innings on Twitter. Indeed, it was an innings of some class and Pandya showed that he was paying back the faith the likes of Virat Kohli and the rest of the management had placed on him.

The innings played by the batsman was one of brute power after a restrained start to settle down and let the ball get old. The player unleashed on Australian spinner Adam Zampa, smashing three sixes in a row after a boundary to help accelerate India’s score.
His innings came at a superb rate and will be remembered for a long time. One person who certainly was thrilled was popular VJ and host, Shibani Dandekar.
The beautiful host took to Twitter to exult in happiness after watching Hardik’s innings to which the fast bowler thanked her in a light-hearted and sweet manner. Pandya will certainly be the apple of everyone’s eye for the next few days till India take to the Eden Gardens for the next game.
