Arjun Tendulkar’s Yorker Injures England’s Star Batsman In The Nets

Indian cricket fans are waiting to see Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar in India colours. It is true that Arjun is very young and he needs to keep working hard in the coming years if he wants to represent India at the inert national level.

Arjun Tendulkar keeps travelling to England where he practices with England cricket stars, by bowling to them in the nets. A report that emerged on Thursday said that Arjun Tendulkar bowled a cracking yorker to England’s wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow in the nets. As a result, Jonny Bairstow suffered an unexpected injury scare ahead of the first Test against South Africa at Lord’s.

This happened when the England boys were practicing in the nets ahead of their first and much-awaited Test match against South Africa. Arjun Tendulkar is a fast-bowling all-rounder and he bowls at a very good speed considering his age.

Reportedly, Bairstow’s left foot was placed briefly in a compression unit to ease the pain during the session at Lord’s on Wednesday morning.

However, after initial check up by Engaldn’s physio, England’s wicketkeeper and No 5 was declared alright in no danger of missing the Test.

“Jonny Bairstow suffered an unexpected injury scare ahead of the first Test against South Africa at Lord’s. The 27-year-old was pinned on the foot by a yorker from the teenage son of Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar. Bairstow hobbled out of the nets after facing only one delivery from the 17-year-old Arjun Tendulkar,” the report said.
