10 Funniest Memes On Jofra Archer’s Bowling Performance Against PBKS

Jofra Archer isn’t having an ideal comeback to the IPL with him getting only 2 wickets in his first 3 matches and leaking runs at over 9 runs an over. Things got even worse for the Mumbai Indians fast bowler as he was hammered for 0/56 in 4 overs against Punjab Kings.

It was a forgettable, nightmarish bowling performance for the 2019 World Cup-winning fast bowler, Jofra Archer, as he was smoked for 14 runs an over by the PBKS batters, his worst hammering coming in his last over as Liam Livingstone cracked him for three sixes down the ground.

Jofra Archer had started the game on a positive note, giving away only 5 runs in his only over inside the powerplay.

The beating started in his second over, the 13th, when Jitesh Sharma creamed him for 3 fours. His next over, the 16th over, was another tight over, only 7 runs.

However, it all unraveled for MI’s expensive INR 8 crore signing when he came on to bowl the penultimate over of Punjab’s innings. Livingstone picked up the slower ball first, and then two back-of-length balls from Archer and deposited it – one six down the ground and two over long-on. Jofra Archer had a bemused look and he later also conceded 5 wides to finish the spell with 0/56.

This led to a spate of memes, jokes, and trolling on Twitter. Fans trolled Jofra Archer and Mumbai Indians for their poor bowling show as PBKS ransacked 214 runs.
