Fleming is the most successful individual coach in the Indian Premier League with all 5 Indian Premier League titles of CSK coming under the coaching of the former New Zealand skipper.
Mahela Jayawardene – 3 titles
Behind Fleming is former Mumbai Indians head coach Mahela Jayawardene. Jayawardene retired from the Indian Premier League after the 2013 season, and although he could not win the title as a player. Mahela Jayawardene coached Mumbai Indians to three Indian Premier League titles in 2017, 2019, and 2020.
Jayawardene is now the global head of performance at Mumbai Indians and their associated franchises.
Trevor Bayliss – 2 titles
Before Trevor Bayliss coached England to the 2019 World Cup trophy, he had had immense success in the Indian Premier League. Bayliss had coached Sri Lanka to the 2011 World Cup final. He then coached the Sydney Sixers to the BBL title in the 2011/12 season.
KKR roped him in 2012 and Bayliss delivered instantly with the 2012 Indian Premier League title. Bayliss and Gambhir won their second Indian Premier League title for KKR in 2014.
In 2015, he became England’s head coach, and four years later, England were crowned the world champions at their home. Bayliss returned to the IPL as the head coach of SRH.
