Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team is all set to take on Australia in the much-awaited final clash of the World Test Championship at the Oval from June 7 to 11. This is the first time that Rohit will be seen leading the Indian cricket team in the final of an ICC event. Though, he made his debut as the captain in an ICC event in the 2022 T20 World Cup.

Rohit is now gearing up for a bigger challenge that will end the 2-year-long cycle. Rohit will aim to end India’s 10-year-long wait to win an ICC trophy. It was in 2013 when the Indian cricket team won their last ICC trophy. It came under the captaincy of MS Dhoni when the Indian cricket team lifted the Champions Trophy in England.

Ever since then, India has come close to winning the ICC trophy many times but failed. India lost the WTC Final 2021 to New Zealand. This time fans have their hopes pinned on Rohit Sharma.
