Irfan Pathan Trolls ‘Padosi’ Pakistanis Again On Twitter

Former India all-rounder and now commentator Irfan Pathan continued his back and forth with the Pakistani cricket fans on Twitter as he wrote another tweet mentioning the ‘Padosi’ (neighbors) after the Pakistani fans had hounded him on Sunday following the victory of Pakistan A over India A in the final of the ACC Mens Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023.

The Pakistan A team, led by Mohammad Haris, defeated the India A unit that was captained by Yash Dhull in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup Final at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo by a massive margin of 128 runs.

Middle-order batsman Tayyab Tahir was the hero for Pakistan A as he cracked 108 runs in 71 balls with the help of 12 fours and 4 sixes to take Pakistan A’s total to a whopping 352. In reply, for India A, only opener Abhishek Sharma got going with 61 runs while no other batter could record a fifty and India A lost by a big margin.

Irfan Pathan

Soon after India A lost the contest, the Pakistani fans trolled Irfan Pathan for his previous tweet back from when India had defeated Pakistan at Melbourne in last year’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. It was one of the most memorable games where Virat Kohli stood up like the champion batsman he is and guided India to a stunning run-chase, which India completed on the last ball of the chase.

Then, Irfan Pathan had written a funny tweet, provoking the Pakistanis: “Padosiyon Sunday kesa raha???”

That tweet from Irfan Pathan has got 183.6K likes and over 10K retweets and became one of the most famous tweets from an ex-India cricketer.

Many Pakistani fans often go to that tweet and call out Irfan whenever India loses any match, more recently the WTC Final 2023 which India lost to Australia. Even then, Irfan Pathan had taken to Twitter to hit back at the ‘Padosi” writing: “Suddenly all the padosi’s are entering my time line with happiness cos team India lost the WTC FINAL. I was so right abt them… #grace”

He tweeted: “Ek Sunday ke tweet ko abhi Tak Bhul nahi paae ho. Kitne velle ho? #padosi”

This tweet from the former all-rounder once again went viral with reactions from both Pakistani and Indian fans.
