Virat Kohli Played A Powerful Knock

After India bundled out the visitors for just 199 runs, it was expected that the Indian cricket team would chase the target easily but that didn’t happen as Australian bowlers were all over them. India lost Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Shreyas Iyer, all for ducks.
The Men in Blue were at 2-3 when Virat Kohli and KL Rahul started the mission to save India after the top-order collapse. The Indian run machine Virat Kohli played a crucial knock for the Indian cricket team. He stood tall for the team when the top order collapsed badly. He played a match-winning knock of 116-ball 85, having shared a century partnership stand with KL Rahul.
Mitchell Starc Checked On Kohli After Throwing A Nasty Bouncer
During his knock, Virat Kohli was hit by a nasty bouncer by Mitchell Starc. It happened during the 34th over of the Indian innings, when Mitchell Starch bowled a nasty short ball to which the batter tried to play on. The delivery bounced over the top edge and hit him on the side of the helmet.
After the ball hit Kohli, Starc immediately went to him and checked on him. His gesture won many hearts and even the crowd at the stadium were left in awe of Starc.

The physio ran towards Kohli immediately as he was hit by a nasty bouncer. Kohli underwent a concussion test and thankfully he was okay. However, following that, Kohli gave the pacer a staggering reply as he smashed him for the rollicking boundary on the very next ball.
Starc bowled a full delivery that was outside off, Kohli opened the face of the bat and played it square on the off-ball.
Kohli was well-accompanied by KL Rahul, who played a magnificent knock of 97 runs off 115 balls, smashing 8 fours and 2 sixes. Riding on the stellar knocks of Virat and KL Rahul and a finishing touch by Hardik Pandya (11 runs off 8 balls), the Indian cricket team defeated Australia by 6 wickets.
