Abdul Razzaq, the former Pakistan all-rounder, created a stir as he went on to insult India’s sensational bowler Jasprit Bumrah with his statements. In his statements, Abdul Razzaq claimed that if he had been active in cricket till now he would not have any problem in facing Jasprit Bumrah, who is currently World’s no.1 bowler in ODI.

The Pakistani all-rounder called Jasprit Bumrah a “baby bowler” infront of him as he has played against yesteryear bowlers like Wasim Akram, Glenn McGrath, and Shoaib Akhtar. Talking about the same in an interview with Cricket Pakistan, he said:

“I have played against great bowlers like Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram, so Bumrah is a baby bowler in front of me and I could have easily dominated and attacked him,”

He added:

“After having faced world-class bowlers in my time, I would have had no problem against a bowler like Bumrah. The pressure would have been on him.”

Furthermore, he went on to say that Jasprit Bumrah is regarded as a good bowler only because of his unique bowling action. He said:

“Bumrah is doing very well and has improved a lot. He has an awkward action and hits the seam perfectly which is why he is effective.”

Obviously, his statements didn’t go don’t well with the Indian fans, who slammed him left, right and center. However, the best reply for the Pakistani all-rounder has come from Aakash Chopra, former Indian cricketer, and commentator, who mocked him hilariously and took stand for Jasprit Bumrah.

In his tweet, Aakash Chopra wrote that Abdul Razzaq is a fine example of how growing up is optional. He wrote:

“Another fine example of the fact that growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. Well played ??”
