Legendary South African batsman AB de Villiers enjoys a great fan following in India. He is hailed as one of the megastars in modern-day cricket and despite announcing retirement from all forms of the game he still remains a fans favorite. Apart from his immense popularity, the Proteas legend was one of the leading faces in the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) camp.
AB de Villiers Shares A Great Bond Of Friendship With Virat Kohli

He shares a close bond with another talismanic figure representing the franchise — Virat Kohli. Both the cricketers have shared the same dressing room, playing for RCB for several years. The bromance between them is something that cannot be put in words and RCB fans adore the duo to the core.
The duo has shared the same dressing room at Royal Challengers Bangalore since 2011 when de Villiers was roped in by the Bangalore-based franchise at the auction. On the other hand, Kohli has been at RCB ever since the inception of the league in 2008.

Not only Kohli and de Villiers have been two of the best players for years in the IPL but they have also shared a great bond off the field. The duo’s close friendships is well documented. In fact, AB de Villers called it quits from all forms of the game after the fourteenth edition of the IPL. In the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League RCB played without the services of de Villiers.
The legendary cricketer is expected to make a return to the Indian Premier League in the next season, perhaps in a different avatar.
Meanwhile, recently, a picture featuring de Villiers and Virat Kohli in the rear view of an auto-rickshaw in Bengaluru has been doing the rounds on social media. ABDV, who came across the viral picture on the internet, was really impressed by it. As a result, he decided to drop a heart emoji on Twitter.
