India’s sensational fast bowler, Umesh Yadav is in some stellar form off-lately. The right-arm pacer continued his impressive run in the English county season with an exhibition of some fiery death-overs bowling.
Umesh Yadav Gave A Stellar Performance

On Friday, Umesh went on a yorker spree in the end-overs stage of Middlesex’s Group A encounter of the Royal London One-Day Cup against Surrey.
After an embarrassing defeat in the first match of the season, Middlesex locked its horns with Durham on August 7. Durham elected to bat first after winning the toss on a pitch that seemed great for batting, however, Umesh Yadav wreaked havoc with his bowling.

Yadav, who had picked just a solitary wicket in the previous game bagged an impressive five-wicket haul. His first wicket came in only the second delivery of the game. His vicious in-swinger shattered the stumps as he got the prized wicket of Durham opener Graham Clark. He then dismissed skipper Scott Borthwick in his second over with a stunning delivery.
Umesh then returned with the ball in the middle overs and delivered right away with the wicket of batter Liam Trevaskis. Umesh Yadav finished with brilliant figures of 5/33 and secured his maiden fifer in English County Cricket.
After the game, Umesh took to his social media and shared glimpses of his amazing spell on his Instagram handle. Sharing the video, Yadav wrote:
“Always a special feeling to get a 5-wicket haul! Onwards & upwards”

It has to be noted that Yadav has been in England since early June. After being ignored by the selectors for a long time now, Umesh Yadav has finally redeemed his form. He last donned the Indian jersey in the limited overs format in October 2018. He was also ignored by the selectors for the upcoming Zimbabwe tour, which will kickstart on August 18.
However, he is now knocking on the Indian selectors’ doors with his tremendous bowling displays. He will be next seen in action on August 10 when Middlesex takes on Surrey.
