The Indian cricket fans were not shocked at all after the senior batsman Cheteshwar Pujara failed to perform with the bat once again. Cheteshwar Pujara, who is hailed as India’s Test specialist, has been going through a tough phase in his career.
Pujara hasn’t had the best of times in international cricket lately. Due to his bad form and lack of runs, he found himself at the receiving end of criticism and flak from the netizens. In fact, questions were raised on his position in the playing XI. However, despite his poor run with the bat, the Indian team management decided to back their senior batsman, who failed to live up to the expectations of team India and the fans.
Cheteshwar Pujara, walked out to bat after the dismissal of Mayank Agarwal, who was out for 60. However, Pujara couldn’t contribute much with the bat as he was seen walking back to the pavilion for a DUCK.
Lungi Ngidi was the man who dismissed the opener first, who is currently in some fine form. Agarwal was given out by the on-field umpire, but the Proteas skipper went in for a review which went in their favor and Mayank Agarwal had to go for 60 (123).
The sadness of the fans just doubled after Pujara came to the crease, just to be sent back by the same bowler after facing just one ball.
Meanwhile, watching the horror run of Pujara’s continue, fans on social media took to Twitter to express their displeasure on Twitter. Fans are trolling Pujara left, right, and center on the micro-blogging site after his flop show at Centurion.
