The Board of Control for Cricket in India recently announced the much-awaited 15-member squad of the Indian cricket team for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 and as expected, former Indian captain Virat Kohli is back in the Indian team. Virat Kohli, who rested for the last 3 weeks and didn’t play in the just concluded tour of the West Indies. He is rested for the upcoming series against Zimbabwe as well.

Virat will complete a unique century. Kohli will become only the second player to have played 100 matches in all the formats of the game. The first player to have achieved this feat is former New Zealand cricketer Ross Taylor, who recently announced his retirement.

Meanwhile, according to information coming from sources close to Kohli, he will begin net practice this week in Mumbai to get ready for the Asia Cup 2022.

Yes, as per the updates, Kohli will begin practice in MCA Indoor Academy in Bandra Kurla Complex this week. Notably, Kohli’s residence in Mumbai is in Worli Omkar Building which is just 20 mins away from MCA Academy in BKC. This might be one of the reasons why Kohli has decided to practice at the academy in BKC.
