However, the Indian cricket team not just shut all the debates regarding the pitch but also produced a stunning performance in both departments of the game. While all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja stole the show with his memorable comeback during Australia’s batting in the first innings, on the other hand, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin ran through the Australian batting line-up in the third one.

Jadeja made a memorable comeback by grabbing a 11-wicket haul in the match and also scored a half-century while batting.

After the match, former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif said that the Pat Cummins side is now looking to bring in ‘duplicate’ Jadeja after ‘duplicate Ashwin’. Kaif wrote:

“Australia now know the difference between facing duplicate Ashwin and real Ashwin. You can’t prepare to face one of all-time great by facing a young first-class player. Hope they not searching for a Jadeja duplicate in Delhi.”

Not only Indian players are bashing Australia after their humiliating defeat, former England captain Michael Vaughan also took a dig at the Pat Cummins-led side. Vaughan tweeted, “No surprise at all that the Aussies got hammered in those conditions .. Most teams get the same treatment against such a good team ..Ravichandran Ashwin & Ravindra Jadeja are as hard a combination to face as any in their own home conditions .. See no way back for the Aussies.”
