Babar Azam Got Trolled With Memes After Being Bowled Again By Hazlewood In AUS vs PAK 2nd Test, Watch

The star Pakistan batsman Babar Azam got bowled for the second time in the MCG Test through the gap between his bat and pad, giving fodder for the memers on social media.

Babar Azam was batting beautifully in this innings and the best he’s done in this Test series so far. After managing scores of only 14 and 21 in the first Test in Perth, Babar was dismissed for only 1 run in the first innings at the MCG.

In the first innings, he got a peach from Pat Cummins that jagged back sharply into off the pitch, beat him on his inside edge and hit the top of the stumps.

In the second innings, it was a very similar ball from Josh Hazlewood that outdid the Pakistani talisman batter. Once again the ball seamed in sharply into the line after pitching outside the off-stump. Babar, who had batted brilliantly and even aggressively for his 41 runs till then, was a little late in bringing down his bat as the ball sneaked through the pad-bat gap and clattered into the top of the stumps. Hazlewood’s celebration told how crucial the wicket was for Australia as Pakistan were eyeing a historic run-chase.

The AUS vs PAK at the MCG is headed toward an exciting finish. Given a target of 317 runs, Pakistan lost Shafique and Imam for low scores, but skipper Shan Masood led a terrific counter-attacking, cracking 7 fours in his knock of 60 runs in 71 balls. Babar scored 41 runs in 79 balls.

Though they both got out, other Pakistan batters didn’t shy away from playing their shots. Mohammad Rizwan slogged Nathan Lyon for a six but was dismissed by Cummins for 35 runs. Pakistan need 98 runs to win and Australia need four wickets, at the time of writing.
