India’s sensational seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is currently in Sri Lanka for the upcoming limited-overs series, revisited his old Instagram memories, right from his school days to Dhoni’s retirement from international cricket.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar made his debut for India across all three formats under the leadership and guidance of former Indian skipper MS Dhoni in 2012/2013. It was also under the guidance of MS Dhoni, that Bhuvi established himself as India’s all-format bowler.
Recently, the BCCI shared a video of Bhuvi, where he revealed how MS Dhoni was always eager to help others besides providing guidance to youngsters. Sharing the video, the BCCI wrote:

In the video, Bhuvi showered praises on the former skipper, saying Dhoni was a great human being. Bhuvi explained how the former skipper was quite helpful and used to guide all the youngsters. He also talked about Dhoni’s retirement and the post he shared after his retirement. Talking about the same, Bhuvi said:
“I think I posted that on his retirement. Everyone knows what kind of a player he is. But I posted to explain what kind of human being he is. He always helps others. If you speak to anybody about Dhoni, they will all tell you about how helpful he is. He always gives guidance to all the youngsters,”
Well, after MS Dhoni announced his retirement, Bhuvi had shared a heartfelt tweet praising Dhoni. He wrote:
“You taught us that all our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them. It was an honour to be a part of your cricketing journey. I have learnt so much from you Mahi Bhai, your wisdom, your guidance has always helped me not only in cricket but for life as well. Happy retirement @mahi7781,”
Meanwhile, currently, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is in Sri Lanka with the second-string Indian team for the upcoming limited-overs series. In the upcoming series, Bhuvi will serve as the deputy to skipper Shikhar Dhawan
