The Rajasthan Royals (RR) took on Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Friday in Dharamsala in a must-win encounter, the least league phase match of both teams, and must-win for both teams. The match started with some laughing stock for the fans.
Everyone was left surprised and amused when the IPL broadcasters showed Chahal’s name as the captain of RR when Sanju Samson was at the toss.
Samson won the toss and when he began speaking to the host, instead of Samson’s name, it was Chahal’s name that flashed on the screens.
“Yuzvendra Chahal, Rajasthan Royals captain” was written while Samson spoke with Pommie Mbangwa at the toss.
Here check out the big blunder by the broadcasters:

This led to a spate of jokes and memes on social media.
As usual, the RR Twitter admin showed its sense of humor and trolled the broadcasters Star Sports. Last year, RR had made a funny tweet of Chahal as the new RR captain.
They quoted this tweet and captioned it: “@StarSportsIndia you’re not the first ones.”
Here, see how Rajasthan Royals (RR) brutally trolled Star Sports:
