Kartik Tyagi – the superstar of Rajasthan Royals‘ first match of the second leg of IPL 2021. Tyagi left everyone stunned with the way he pulled out his team for a two-run victory from the jaws of defeat. It was a nail-biting escape for Rajasthan Royals but they will be relieved with this victory as they jump to number 5 on the points table.
KL Rahul couldn’t believe it, Punjab Kings’ players couldn’t believe it, fans couldn’t believe it but Kartik Tyagi’s last over left Punjab Kings in complete shambles. Everyone had already started celebrating Punjab Kings’ victory and there was no way that Rajasthan Royals would have stolen it, however, Kartik had other plans as he turned the game upside down with his last over.
Kartik showed immense fighting spirit and kept composure. He bowled 5 dot balls in the last over with the defeat looking imminent. Rajasthan required nothing more than a miracle to secure two points from this match and Tyagi delivered it when it mattered the most.

While the ending was absolutely unexpected, there were a lot of positives for Punjab Kings in this match. The batting form of their top order and the amazing performances by Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Shami, who picked 5 and 3 wickets each, set the tone right for their team, however, they failed to register the win under their name.
Meanwhile, fans on social media went berserk after the nail-biting finish to the game, all thanks to the amazing spell by Kartik Tyagi. From cricketers, experts to fans, everyone was left stunned by the way this match came to an end. Kartik has also been receiving praises from all corners for his amazing performance.

An over for the ages from Kartik Tyagi! Defends 4 after the Fizz had delivered a 4 run over. Incredible finish. How could #PunjabKings mess this up!

One run last over bowled by a 20 year old! Wow!! Take a bow Kartik Tyagi. RR are quite the over performers given their limited resources and Kings XI sadly the end over chokers! #KXIPvRR

Kartik Tyagi is just too good, at this age, raw pace, yorkers and perfect attitude for a fast bowler.
