5 Cricketers Whose Career Changed After Visiting The Mahakal Temple: Recently, the out-of-favor Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan broke the internet after a few pictures of his visit to Mahakaleshwar’s Jyotirling temple in Ujjain went viral on the internet.

Shikhar Dhawan visited the temple with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who was celebrating his 56th birthday (on September 9th). The duo performed the Bhasma aarti of Lord Mahakal early in the morning. The duo, along with their families, reached the temple directly from Indore airport. After Bhasma aarti, they reached Shri Mahakal Lok.

Later, while speaking to the media, Shikhar Dhawan said that he thanked God for calling them there and took blessings. When Shikhar was asked about the World Cup, Akshay playfully said that these are small things to wish for since they are destined to win. He also mentioned that one should wish for progress from Mahakal and wish that the country progresses more.

Meanwhile, as the pictures of Shikhar Dhawan went viral, fans on social media came up with beautiful reactions, claiming that the superstar will soon make a comeback to the team as he has visited the divine temple. Indian allrounder Axar Patel, accompanied by his wife Meha visited the Baba Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh in February 2023.The newlywed couple offered prayers to Mahakaleshwar and took part in the ‘Bhasma Aarti’, which is usually performed in the Nandihal during the Brahma Muhurta between 4 am to 5:30 am. Speaking about his visit, Axar revealed that it was his dream to watch the Arti.
