Royal Challengers Bangalore Women have once again managed to disappoint their fans as they continued their poor run with the bat in the ongoing 2023 edition of the Women’s Premier League. Playing their fourth match of the season RCB women collapsed with just 138 runs on the board in the 19th over against UP Warriorz.
RCB has been constantly struggling against spinners this season and once again they failed against the talented UP Warriorz spinners.

While UP Warriorz knocked out Royal Challengers Bangalore for 138 in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) match at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Friday, spinners Sophie Ecclestone and Deepti Sharma shared seven wickets between them.
While Deepti returned with the figures of 3/26, on the other hand, seasoned left-arm spinner Ecclestone returned with incredible figures of 4/13 in her quota of four overs.
Deepti Sharma Struck Twice In An Over
Talking about the RCB women, Ellyse Perry top-scored for the team with a blistering knock of 39-ball 52 runs. Ellyse was dismissed by Deepti Sharma before the batter could take RCB-W ahead in the innings.
In the 17th over of the game, Ellyse Perry tried to take the run-rate as she tried to hit Deepti over the fielder at deep mid-wicket but couldn’t get the timing right and handed the catch straight to the fielder on the ropes.
After dismissing Ellyse, Deepti found her next victim — Erin Burns in the same over. The ball shook the stumps as Erin attempted to move out of the crease to knock Deepti Sharma up and over, leaving RCB-W in a difficult predicament.

UP Warriorz, meanwhile, has made a solid start in their chase and has already scored more than 30 runs in only three overs. They appear to be in a strong position to win and secure their second win in the ongoing tournament.
