The unpleasant dismissal took place in the 50 the over of the game when the match resume as the players went off the field thrice. Pant went back to the pavilion after the final ball of the second over as Ollie Robinson bounced back amazingly.

Pant smashed a six in the bouncer off the previous delivery however in the very next ball, Pant threw away his wicket. He merely chipped it to short cover, where Jonny straightforward catch, giving Robinson his second wicket.

Meanwhile, fans on social media went berserk and were split on how the keeper-batsman was dismissed. While some believed that Pant should have shown a bit more maturity in his strokeplay, on other hand, others looked at his runs and a short cameo as a valuable contribution in the conditions.
