Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly Reunite At Lord’s: While the Lord’s was set up for an exciting and crucial-for-both-teams ODI between India and England on Thursday, the fans also got to witness a band of legendary former Indian cricketers.
In attendance at the Lord’s were former skipper MS Dhoni, legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, another former captain and the current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, former batsman Suresh Raina and former off-spinner Harbhajan Singh.
Tendulkar and Ganguly are still the most successful ODI opening pair with 6609 runs at an average of 49 and the duo shared a record 21 ODI opening century partnerships. They were seated along with the ICC Chairman Greg Barclay and also Tendulkar’s wife, Anjali. While Suresh Raina was seen alongside Harbhajan and Dhoni.

Nasser Hussain and Ravi Shastri provided their thoughts on the iconic Indian batting duo.

Tendulkar has been on a vacation for a while now. He landed in the UK with his family and was part of Ganguly’s pre-birthday celebrations as well.
Meanwhile, speaking about the Lord’s ODI, Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to field first once again. Virat Kohli, who missed the Oval ODI due to a groin injury, is not fit and slotted back in the eleven replacing Shreyas Iyer.
