The knockouts of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2023) brought out the aggressive side in two passionate competitors – Kieron Pollard and Shaheen Afridi as the duo were seen getting engaged in a heated altercation at the Gaddafi Stadium, in Lahore.
The Qualifier 1 between Shaheen Afridi‘s  Qalandars and Mohammad Rizwan’s Multan Sultans, for which Pollard plays, saw an intense battle between bat and ball between Pollard and the Qalandars fast-bowling duo of Shaheen and Haris Rauf in Lahore.
Kieron Pollard smashed 3 sixes in an over to Shaheen Afridi, after which they fought on the field

Batting first in the match, Kieron Pollard smashed 57 runs in 34 balls to take Multan to 160. Although Haris Rauf dismissed Pollard on the second ball of the 20th over, by then the big West Indian had smoked 6 sixes in his entertaining innings, 3 sixes of which came in the 19th over to Shaheen Afridi, rattling the spearhead Pakistani fast bowler.

Shaheen is usually a calm and composed player, however, after being given a beating by Pollard, who also had some words to say to the fast bowler, the left-arm speedster lost his cool.
In the video of their fight that has gone viral on social media, both Polly and Afridi can be seen shouting something to each other. As Afridi moved away, Pollard continued with the chatter. This irked Afridi even more and he suddenly turned around, quite intimidatingly, showing his full feelings that he was really furious at the things being said by Pollard.

Meanwhile, after electing to bat first, Multan were slow in their start, their opening partnership between Rizwan and Usman Khan being worth 53 runs in 7.3 overs. They lost their way in the middle overs, going from 53/0 to 90/3, before the tall, powerful duo of Polly and Tim David rescued the innings and propelled them to 160. Polly scored 57(34) and David scored 22*(15).
Since this is Qualified 1, the winner goes into the final, while the loser still gets another chance in Eliminator 2.
