While it has been learned that Shoaib Malik’s family isn’t happy with his third marriage and didn’t attend his wedding with Sana Javed, Malik’s friend and former teammate Shahid Afridi has made a cheeky comment.
On Saturday, Shoaib Malik stunned the world by posting pictures of his marriage – his third – with Pakistani actress Sana Javed, who was earlier married to singer Umar Jaswal.
Not long after the announcement of this marriage, it was revealed that Malik and Sania Mirza, the Indian tennis star who had gotten hitched to Malik in 2010 and has a five-year-old son with him, have been divorced for a few months, and that Sana had also gotten divorced with Umar. Pakistani channel Samaa TV even claimed that Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed have been dating for more than two years.
Shahid Afridi’s cheeky wish for Shoaib Malik is bizarre
For the unversed, this is Shoaib Malik’s third marriage; before marrying Sania Mirza in 2010, Malik had been married to Ayesha Siddiqui, who had claimed that they were married in 2002.
Shahid Afridi, who spent years with Malik in the Pakistan dressing room, made a cheeky, and bizarre comment while wishing Malik for his marriage. Afridi said that he hopes god keeps him happy this time, in his third marriage.
“Many congratulations to Shoaib Malik. I hope god keeps him happy with this wife for the rest of his life (Shoaib Malik ko bohut bohut mubaraq baat. Allah use isi life partner ke saath saari zindagi khush rakhe,” Afridi said on Samaa TV recently.
After their news of marriage broke out, a Pakistani journalist alleged that both had gotten close during the shows Sana used to do, adding that Shoaib Malik used to demand Sana’s presence and put it as a condition to appear on the show.
“Sana Javed and Shoaib Malik have been meeting for the last three years. At that time, Sana Javed was already married to Umair Jaswal. She met Shoaib Malik in Jeeto Pakistan. Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed started meeting consecutively in the show. Also, let me tell you, Shoaib Malik used to put conditions before appearing in the shows that he will only come in the shows if Sana Javed will be invited as guest, no actor noticed this thing because Sana Javed was already married to Umair Jaswal,” the Pakistani TV channel’s journalist revealed.
