The divorce between former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, and the former’s marriage with Sana Javed, have been a talking point among netizens over the past few days.
Malik and Mirza had gotten married in 2010, only five days after Malik’s divorce date with his first wife, Ayesha Siddiqui. Shoaib and Sania have a five-year-old son, Izhaan, who is currently reportedly living with Sania.
The sudden announcement by Shoaib Malik of his marriage to Sana Javed on Saturday morning stunned everyone.
There had been rumors over the past couple of years of strife between Malik and Sania, but none of which were taken with any seriousness. However, since Malik announced his wedding to Sana, a video has popped up on social media in which the cricketer, laughingly, can be seen teasing Sania that she scolds him a lot.
The couple used to run a show, The Mirza Malik Show. In one of the episodes, they invited fast bowler Wahab Riaz and his wife, Zainab. In a clip that has gone viral on social media, Shoaib Malik is conveying his plight of getting scolded by his parents and then his wife.
Sania promptly hit back at Malik. Retorting to her husband’s comment, Sania said that the favorite topic of Pakistani cricketers is to badmouth their own wives.
When the show aired, nobody thought that perhaps Shoaib was indicating a problem in their house in a way, taunting Sania. But now, netizens are pondering over this short statement from the former Pakistan captain.
