Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh was laughing out loudly on seeing Babar Azam’s recent comment wherein the Pakistani skipper said that he said he likes the BBL better than the IPL. And not just Bhajji , Indian fans too trolled Babar mercilessly for this remark.

In a podcast, Pakistani Skipper was asked about his preference between the two – Indian Premier League  and Big Bash League  – famous T20 leagues. And while India’s Indian Premier League is comfortably the biggest, richest T20 competition on the planet comprising of the best T20 players in the world, the Pakistani skipper reckoned the Australian pitches in the Big Bash League  are fast and bouncy and make up for exciting cricket.

Bhajji Used Twitter To Troll Pakistani Skipper

Here, check out Harbhajan Singh‘s tweet of a laughing emoji on the news of Pakistani Skipper preferring Australia’s Big Bash League over India’s Indian Premier League.

”The conditions over there in Australia are different. The pitches over there are really fast and you get to learn a lot. Whereas in IPL, you get the same Asian conditions,” Pak Skipper  said on the Zalmi Podcast.

Along with Harbhajan Singh, Indian fans too savagely trolled Azam.

Here are some more reactions:

Lol! Who cares for what Babar Azam thinks. Ask the Aussies players who rush to participate in the IPL and make loads of money. Case of sour grapes! 😅

For the unversed, since 2009, the Pakistani players are not allowed to play in the Premier League due to the border and political tensions between the two countries. Only in the 2008 season did the Pakistani players featured in the Indian League, with the likes of Kamran Akmal and Sohail Tanvir winning the League 2008 trophy with Rajasthan Royals under Shane Warne‘s captaincy.

After 2008, the BCCI didn’t allow the Pakistani players in the Indian League. However, a few ex-Pakistani cricketers were being employed as commentators – like Ramiz Raja – and others in the coaching departments – like Wasim Akram at KKR.
