Hardik Pandya Wrote A Beautiful Reply On Dinesh Karthik’s Tweet: On Sunday, veteran wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik earned a recall to the Indian Team for the upcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa, riding on the back of his stellar performances for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.

Karthik’s story has been inspirational. After leading Kolkata Knight Riders to the IPL 2018 playoffs, he was struggling badly to score runs. But this year he turned around the tables and was seen in some amazingly hot form for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Yes, Dinesh Karthik was in terrific form throughout the tournament, and playing a specialist finisher role, he lit up the tournament with his extravagant strokeplay and ability to finish the game for his side by taking them to the finishing line. At the commencement of group stages, Karthik had scored 287 runs at a stellar strike rate of 191.

The selectors heard his call and decided to bring him back to the Indian national set-up after three years. DK last played for the Indian cricket team in 2019 and the recall comes after his heroics as a finisher helped Royal Challengers Bangalore qualify for the IPL 2022 playoffs.

Meanwhile, after the announcement, DK – who has been very vocal about his desire to represent the Indian cricket team again, shared a picture of himself donning the Indian jersey. Sharing the picture, DK wrote:

“If you believe yourself, everything will fall into place! ✨
Thank you for all the support and belief…the hard work continues..”
