Harsha Bhogle Wrote The Best Tweet For Mohammad Siraj

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Mohammad Siraj put up a sensational performance in the 27th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 against Punjab Kings (PBKS). He was the main architect behind RCB’s win against PBKS.

Mohammed Siraj Bowled A Sensational Spell

The right-arm pacer bowled a match-winning spell and gave a nightmare to the PBKS bowlers. Siraj dominated the game as he removed their main players and put RCB on the driving seat.

While defending the target of 175 runs, Mohammed Siraj gave a flying start to his team as he removed Atharv Taide in the second ball of the innings and didn’t look back after that. Siraj then went on to remove Livingstone to further hamper Punjab’s chances.

Returning to bowl his second spell, he dismissed Nathan Ellis and Harpreet Singh Brar. If this was not enough, Siraj displayed brilliant fielding efforts as he nailed his throw to send Harpreet Bhatia packing

Siraj finished with his career-best figures of 4/21 and helped his side win the game.

Harsha Bhogle Hailed Siraj

Meanwhile, Siraj has been receiving praise from all corners for his stunning performance. Popular Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle took to his social media and hailed Siraj for his sensational spell. He wrote:

Just so happy to see the way @mdsirajofficial is bowling. An indicator of a player’s character is to see how he improves and on that front Siraj in T20 has gone to another level.”

Meanwhile, after the match, Mohammad Siraj talked about his performance and said that in the lockdown period, he worked on his skills and fitness. Speaking at the post-match presentation, he said:

“First ball the length was a bit short and then I sensed need to bowl full to get some swing and that was the plan (for first wicket). The lockdown was really important for me, because I used to get hit for boundaries very often before that. I worked on my plans, my fitness and my bowling and it’s all paying dividends now.”

He added: “I always try to improve in every department of the game because I understand it is important to contribute in whichever way possible. Always rated myself as a decent fielder, misfields can happen but I take my fielding seriously.”
