Harsha Bhogle is one of the most talented and loved commentators of India. Fondly called as the ‘Voice of Indian cricket’, Harsha has been entertaining all his cricket fans with his outstanding presentation and commentary. His vast knowledge of the game and Bhogle’s unique style of commentary makes him one of the loved commentators.
Recently, Harsha found himself at the receiving end of trolling after he posted a tweet criticising the slow knock of MS Dhoni that costed his team their second match of IPL 2020 against Rajasthan Royals.
CSK were chasing a huge target of 217 runs, but Dhoni decided to bat so down the order. He sent the likes of Sam Curran, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Kedar Jadhav batted at No. 4, 5 and 6 respectively while Dhoni reserved himself for No. 7. Walking to bat at number 7 and taking singles when the team was in desperate need of some quick runs, MS Dhoni’s decision made his team CSK finish at the losing side.
Expressing his disappointment over the snail-pace knock of MS Dhoni, Harsha wrote:
“Dhoni? He has to keep the team alive but the game is going away…. .”

As soon as the tweet caught eyes, people started trolling him over his tweet. Harsha Bhogle was trolled left, right, and center on twitter by Dhoni’s fans.

Later, after getting trolled for his statement, Harsha Bhogle shared his opinion on the post-match statements of MS Dhoni, where he revealed the reason why he came to bat later down the order. Reacting too his statement, Harsha claimed that he would look forward to the upcoming games of Dhoni. He also praised the couple of shots Dhoni played, he wrote:
“Interesting that Dhoni said he hadn’t batted for a while and hence, batted lower. Well, after hitting a couple outside the quarantine zone, he is ready to go up. Look forward.”
