India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja slammed a stunning century against England in the ongoing final Test match against England at Edgbaston. Ravindra Jadeja, who came out to bat on Day 1, joined hands with Rishabh Pant in the middle and formed a formidable partnership.

Ravindra Jadeja Played A Stunning Knock

Pant and Jadeja added a 200-plus run stand to put the opposition attack to the sword. While Jadeja played the role of an anchor, Rishabh Pant was seen in his usual attacking mode as he went on to score crucial 146 runs in the first innings. Jadeja also registered his half-century at the end of the day.

Coming out to bat on Day 2, Ravindra Jadeja switched gears to attacking mode as he smashed the England bowlers to all the corners of the ground.

India started Day 2 with just three wickets in hand, but Jadeja started the day with a bang. Mohammad Shami assisted Jadeja well from the other end and tried to rotate the strike as much as possible. Shami played the defensive role before smashing Matthew Potts for a six and then Jadeja took control.

Jadeja smashed two fours to get close to his century and enter the nervous nineties. After Shami, Jadeja smashed Potts for boundaries and survived the scare as he was dropped by Zak Crawley on 92. Jadeja didn’t let this opportunity go in vain and in no time he reached his century with a stunning boundary.

Jadeja reached the three-figure mark off 183 deliveries and after registering another ton in his Test career, Jadeja pulled out his sword (bat) and celebrated the ton as the dressing room gave him a standing ovation.
