Virat Kohli led team India’s New Zealand tour ended on a bad note after they lost the second Test and also lost the two-match series by 2-0 in Christchurch. This is also Team India’s first Test series loss in eight years. The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli is also going through a bad phase and has come under the scanner after his poor performances and bad form in the just-concluded tour to New Zealand.
In the second Test match, Virat Kohli was seen in his aggressive style after a long time, as the Indian bowlers tried to make a comeback in the game by bundling up the New Zealanders on the second day of the second test match. From giving a ‘Ben Stokes’ send off to Kane Williamson to shutting the Christchurch crowd by screaming ‘Shut the f**k up’.
Even on Day 3, the Indian cricket tried everything to make comeback in the game. They looked desperate to get wickets and in process, the Indian cricket team even tried to dodge New Zealand’s opening duo Tom Latham and Tom Blundell at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. Virat was heard shouting ‘Two’ in the fourth over of New Zealand’s innings by the umpire, following which he was given a warning.
Well, according to Indian Express, Virat was again heard saying a rather controversial statement during the second innings of New Zealand, when Team India was defending the score of 131 runs.
The Indian skipper was standing in the slips for the majority of the innings and there he was heard saying a controversial statement, in a typical ‘Delhi boy’ style, saying:
“Jab India mein yeh log aayengey, tab dikha doonga (I will show them when they come to India),”
Just for your information, the Indian cricket team is yet to lose a Test series at home since the 2012/13 and in recent times, the Indian team has become invincible and has only scored a solitary Test to Australia in 2017 while winning most.
