IND vs BAN: Here’s Why BCCI Has Roped In Kuldeep Yadav For 3rd ODI Against Bangladesh

On Friday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has been roped into India’s squad for the third and final ODI match of the ongoing 3-match series against Bangladesh. The 3rd ODI match is going to be a dead rubber as India has already lost the series 0-2 against Bangladesh.

Kuldeep Yadav had made a comeback to the Indian limited-overs setup in the New Zealand tour, however, he didn’t get any opportunity to play in the T20I and ODI series. He was supposed to join the Indian side ahead of the Test series against Bangladesh but he will reach earlier and looks set to play the third match. The decision to add Kuldeep Yadav to the squad was taken after three Indian cricketers including captain Rohit Sharma were ruled out of the final match of the series due to injuries. In Rohit Sharma’s absence, vice-captain KL Rahul will lead the Indian cricket team.
