Pakistan had a poor start to their innings in the T20 World Cup clash against arch-rivals India at the MCG on Sunday as they lost both of their best batters and openers, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, in the powerplay. Both the right-handers were deceived by the swing and seam movements and the smarts of Arshdeep Singh.
Babar Azam didn’t even get any sighters and was dismissed for a first-ball duck by Arshdeep. After Rizwan had played 6 dots in the first over, with one run coming from a wide, Babar was trapped lbw by Arshdeep, who was given the new ball to share with Bhuvneshwar instead of senior-pro-Mohammed Shami.
Looking for swing movement, Arshdeep pitched the ball full and he attained plenty of movement in the air. The ball swung into the batter and kept coming into Babar Azam who tried to work it on the leg side square instead of trying to play it with the front of his bat and missed the ball completely.
The ball hit Azam on his front pad, and no sooner had Arshdeep, the Indian team and the gazillion fans in the stadium went up for an appeal than the umpire raised his finger. The Pakistani skipper had a small chat with Rizwan and went for the review, but it was more in hope than optimism as the Hawk-Eye showed three reds.
Danish Sait trolls Babar Azam in an epic style

Little time had passed away since Babar’s dismissal that social media star Danish Sait, who is in Australia to cover the tournament, put out a hilarious tweet trolling Babar Azam.
“Babar, this too shall pass,” Danish Sait tweeted. Sait’s tweet went viral in quick time with fans from both countries reacting with laughter at it.
Here, check out Sait’s tweet:

The context of this tweet is that Babar had put out a similar tweet for India batsman Virat Kohli in July when Kohli had been going through a lean patch. So now that Babar was dismissed for a duck, this gave Sait and others an opportunity to troll the Pakistani lynchpin.
This too shall pass. Stay strong. #ViratKohli pic.twitter.com/ozr7BFFgXt
