IND vs PAK: Hardik Pandya Finally Revealed The Magic Mantra He Chanted

In a quite unusual and hilarious incident, Hardik Pandya was seen chanting a mantra into the ball, and, astonishingly, he got Imam-ul-Haq’s wicket immediately. The India all-rounder finally revealed what he said or any mantra he chanted.

Hardik Pandya was one of the stars with the ball for India in their epic win over Pakistan on Saturday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He took the wickets of Imam-ul-Haq in his first spell and Mohammad Nawaz later on.

The events preceding the Imam-ul-Haq dismissal became a hilarious talking point among fans and even commentators.

Imam-ul-Haq was batting well and looked steady and confident in his innings of 36 runs in 37 balls before being dismissed by Hardik Pandya. edging a slanted across delivery through to wicket-keeper KL Rahul.

Before bowling that ball, Hardik was spotted speaking something into the ball, maybe chanting a mantra of something. Whatever it was, it worked to the tee as he got Imam on that delivery. Fans noticed this event and it went viral on social media and was even shown to the viewers and commentators.

Star Sports host Jatin Sapru then caught up with Pandya after the match finished for a brief interview and asked what he chanted.

Host Jatin Sapru asked Hardik: “Everyone wants to know – this is the most tracking question at the moment: What did Hardik Pandya said to the ball [before taking Imam’s wicket]?”

With a smile on his face, Hardik replied: “I was just motivating myself, just telling myself to bowl in the right areas and not try extra stuff”

Talking about the match, Pakistan collapsed from 155/2 to 191 all-out, losing their last 8 wickets in only 36 runs. Jasprit Bumrah, who returned with brilliant figures of 2/19 in 7 overs, was named the Player of the Match. Hardik, Siraj, Jadeja, and Kuldeep, all took two wickets each.

Rohit Sharma blasted 86 runs in only 63 balls. Then, Shreyas Iyer scored 53* as India completed the chase with 19.3 overs to spare, and jump to the top spot in the World Cup 2023 points table.
