One of the biggest batting legends in the world, Sachin Tendulkar hit at the veteran pacer Shoaib Akhtar after the Indian cricket team thrashed arch-rivals Pakistan by 7 wickets in the ODI World Cup 2023 game on Saturday. The game turned out to be a one-sided affair, where the Babar Azam-led side failed to live up to the expectations of the fans.
On the eve of the India vs Pakistan game, Shoaib Akhtar took to his social media and shared a post in which he can be seen dismissing batting legend Sachin Tendulkar. Sharing the picture, he wrote:
“Kal agar asa kuch kerna hai, toh #ThandRakh”

The Tweet went viral in no time as it didn’t go well with the fans. India’s 2011 World Cup-winner Munaf Patel also gave a befitting reply to the former Pakistan pacer. Patel shared one of cricket’s greatest memory and both Tendulkar and Akhtar being involved in it.
Munaf shared a picture from the 2003 World Cup encounter between the two sides and Tendulkar playing the iconic uppercut against Akhtar, which resulted in a maximum. Akhtar was seen as vividly frustrated. Sharing the picture, Munaf wrote:
“Yaad dilao kya (Should I remind you?)”
However, the best tweet came from none other than Sachin Tendulkar himself. The batting legend waited for India to thrash Pakistan and later when the Indian side won the game, Sachin took to his Twitter and replied:
“My friend, aap ka advice follow kiya aur sab kuch billlkoool THANDA Rakha….😋”
