Arshdeep Singh, the Indian fast bowler, has performed exceptionally well against the South African batters in the first One Day International (ODI) at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.
Despite South Africa choosing to bat first, Arshdeep Singh, especially with his accurate deliveries, has caused significant trouble for the Proteas’ batsmen. The left-arm pacer turned out to be very effective, creating problems throughout for the South African batting lineup and ensuring a challenging start for their team.
Arshdeep Singh skillfully used the swinging conditions of the pitch and maximized the power in his deliveries to trouble the South African batters. Arshdeep found the outside edges of the batsmen’s shots and even knocked down the stumps.
As Arshdeep broke the stumps of South African players, his IPL team, Punjab Kings, took a chance to tease Mumbai Indians playfully. They reminded the five-time IPL champions about how the pacer had previously dismantled their stumps in the last edition of the league.
