The second T20i between India and Sri Lanka is going on in full swing. The Indian cricket team kickstarted the game with a bang as Navdeep Saini, the Indian fast bowler delivered a pinpoint yorker to dismiss Sri Lanka’s opening batsman that took everyone by surprise.
Well, it happened in the fourth delivery of the eighth over when Navdeep Saini delivered at the speed of 147.5 kmph, which was too fast to handle for the Danushka Gunathilaka. Unable to judge the ball, Danushka had no other option than to see his stumps getting shattered.
Danushka Gunathilaka opened the game for Sri Lanka alongwith Avishka Fernando (22). He was dismissed off Saini’s delivery after scoring 20 off 21 balls at Indore.
Before the match started, Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bowl first. Both the teams came up with the same playing XI after the first match was called-off due to rain. Navdeep Saini was introduced into the attack as a first-change bowler in the third over. He picked his first wicket in the second over.
Navdeep Saini seems to be making the most of the opportunities given to him ahead of the World T20 that will be played later this year. The video of the stunning delivery of Navdeep Saini has been making rounds on social media.
