From dropped catches, poor fielding to expensive overs, Deepak Chahar’s magic failed miserable n the ongoing first T20 Internation series against West Indies today. West Indies were able to pile a huge total in the first match against India, which is taking place at Hyderabad.

All thanks to the pathetic fielding of the Indian cricket team, West Indies batsmen were able to put up a target of 208 runs for the ‘Men In Blue’ in 20 overs. Shimron Hetmyer made his maiden T20 International fifty as he went on to score 56 in just 41 balls. Besides Hetmyer, West Indies’ Evin Lewis made 40 runs, while skipper Kieron Pollard made 37 in 19 balls.
For men in blue, Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets, while Chahar, Sundar, and Ravindra Jadeja scalped one wicket each. Yuzvendra Chahal took the wickets of both Hetmyer and Pollard, but everyone expected India to restrict West Indies to 200, but Jason Holder had some other plans as he went on to hit 24 runs including two sixes in just nine balls.

While all the Indian bowlers failed to leave a mark with their performance, it was Deepak Chahar, who turned out to be the most expensive for the Indian cricket team. He not just dropped three catches but also gave away 19 runs in just one over and conceded 56 runs in his quota of four overs.
As soon as the first innings came to an end, Twitterati started trolling Deepak Chahar for conceding so many runs. Even Brian Lara, the West Indies’ batting legend Brian Lara said that Indian bowlers needed to show some responsible bowling but there wasn’t much to drive about their performance today.
Here, check out how Twitterati are trolling Deepak Chahar:

Chahar exposed today: the WI on song aren’t timid Bangladesh. Chahar & Bhuvi were too much of the same, both medium-paced swingers. T20s require a proper quick. Shami should have played as must Bumrah when he returns. Otherwise, India will stay put at #5 in the rankings #INDvsWI

Chahar has leaked runs tonight and while it looked like he might finish his spell with a tidy over, Holder collected a six, spoiling the effort. Chahar finishes the night with figures of 1/56#INDvsWI
