India vs Australia 2017, Fourth Test, Dharamshala: India’s captain Virat Kohli said in the pre-match press conference before the fourth Test that his participation in the match depends entirely on his fitness. Kohli said that he will take the field only if he is 100% fit.

“I have taken medication. I will still take some more time to decide on whether I will play on not. I will only Play if I am 100 per cent fit,” Virat Kohli said.

It’s noteworthy that Virat Kohli didn’t participate in the net session and he was seen spending time with Team India’s Patrick Farhart. India’s head coach Anil Kumble was also looking worried as Patrick Farhart examined Kohli’s injured shoulder. However, Kohli did take part in the warm-up sessions, but restricted himself to underarm throws during the fielding drills.

The Indian team management has called up young Mumbai top-order batsman, Shreyas Iyer, as cover, and he will reach Dharamsala on Friday morning. Though, Kohli’s absence would be a blow, the team would not like him to aggravate the injury by playing.
