India youngsters Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan share a great friendship bond. The duo can often be seen talking and having fun with each other off the field.
Their friendship and cordial moments are also a reflection of the positive and amicable team environment because both are competing for the opening spot in the same team.
Recently, after the Indian team arrived in Mumbai for their next game, against Sri Lanka, in the World Cup 2023, Ishan Kishan hilariously hit Shubman Gill on his crotch.
Shubman Gill was checking out his phone when Ishan Kishan came and hit Gill in his nuts. Shubman Gill was suddenly taken aback and both then walked off together.

Shubman Gill yet to take World Cup 2023 by storm
Before the start of the World Cup 2023, fans and experts had expected Gill to take the World Cup by storm given his sensational form this year.
However, the 24-year-old hasn’t had the best of the starts. He missed the first two matches due to dengue. Upon returning, he scored a breezy 16 off 11 against Pakistan. Then he recorded scores of 53 (55) vs Bangladesh, 26 (31) vs New Zealand, and 9 (13) vs England.
Overall, in 4 innings, Gill has scored 104 runs at a strike rate of 95. However, Gill has not looked rusty at all and has played some quality shots. He should bounce back with a big score in the coming games.
What Gill is aiming for is to bat longer and have more consistency, which would eventually result in better results for himself and for the team.
“When you know that you are getting the runs, you want to finish the job for your team. You want to be able to be there for as long as possible and score as much as possible. That has been what I have been striving for. Playing for your country is a motivation in itself, and to be able to win and perform every game and to be able to have that motivation and hunger in you is a bit challenging at times. But to be able to be as consistent as you can be is the real challenge,” Gill had said.
