Pakistan’s cricketing legend Javed Miandad is in awe of Virat Kohli’s batting skills and has picked him as his favorite batsman.
Recently, in an interview, Javed Miandad was asked about his favorite batsmen in the world, to which Javed Miandad showered praises on the Indian skipper and shared how his records speak for itself. He picked him as his favorite batsman because of his ‘classy’ batting. Talking about how the Indian skipper has scored century even on the uneven pitches of South Africa, Javed said:
“He even scored a century on the uneven pitches of South Africa. One can not say that he is afraid of pace or bounce. He can face seam bowling, play on bouncing pitches and also bat against spin. He is just a natural stroke-player, he is even strong enough to hit over the rope.”
Besides his batting skills, it is Virat Kohli’s humbleness that attracts Javed Miandad to him. He said:

He is so humble and classy. He is not like other batsmen who would show off after scoring the initial 2 runs, he has a lot of respect for cricket and other cricketers. He respects everyone.”
However, Javed Miandad isn’t the only one from Pakistan who was all praises for Vorat Kohli but earlier Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Amir have also expressed their admiration for Virat Kohli.
