Kedar Jadhav Was Asked How He Manages To Take So Many Wickets

Kedar Jadhav is a man with golden arm. His primary role in Indian cricket team is to score runs in the middle order and finish matches for India.

But, since his debut, Virat Kohli has been using him with the ball and he has been mighty effective chipping in with important wickets.

Jadhav is not a usual part-timer because he has a very unorthodox action. He slings like Lasith Malinga but he is an off-spinner and gets through his over very quickly. He bowls wicket to wicket and inspite of being a predictable bowler, he picks up crucial wickets and gives Kohli an extra option with the ball.

In the fifth and final match of the recently concluded ODI series, he bowled his complete quota of 10 overs for the first time and chipped in with the crucial wicket of in-form Aaron Finch. His slingy action enables him to bowl wicket to wicket which makes it difficult for the batsman to get him away.

Jadhav is mainly used in the middle overs to break partnership and so far he has been able to that job for his captain.

After the fifth and final ODI, Kedar Jadhav was asked to explain how does he manage to take crucial wickets and he gave a very funny reply.

“Trust me, I really don’t know how I get my wickets. I’m just happy that I do my job whenever the captain asks me to. It has helped my batting as well and I am more confident because of my bowling,” said Kedar Jadhav to Michael Clarke in an interview that was posted by BCCI.tv.

“Obviously, it has been a dream since the time I started playing cricket, to play for your country and doing well. So I am living my dream, you can say,” Kedar Jadhav added.
