Though their contributions were very different, Kieron Pollard and Rashid Khan will both be remembered forever by Twenty20 cricket. Every bowler’s worst fear has been Pollard, due to his towering presence and ferocious hitting. As a result of his devastating hitting power, he is often considered one of the format’s most dangerous batters. It is not uncommon for Pollard to be the deciding factor in a game, whether it be his effortless clearance of the ropes or his spectacular finish to an innings.
Rashid Khan, on the other hand, has bowled in T20 cricket like it is normal for him. Even the most skilled batsmen have been fooled by his accurate and dangerous variations. Rashid has been an asset to every side he has played for because of his propensity for taking important wickets and limiting runs.
Kieron Pollard Smashed 5 Sixes Against Rashid Khan In The Hundred
Over the weekend, Kieron Pollard showed off his incredible strength in a match between SB and TR, going up against Rashid Khan in The Hundred. After Rashid Khan started to bowl, Pollard—renowned for his ability to clear the ropes—did just that by hammering five sixes in a row. Pollard struck a six off every ball in the over since there are only five deliveries in an over in The Hundred.
The 2007 six sixes by Yuvraj Singh versus Stuart Broad was instantly compared to this achievement. In addition to putting his side in a solid position, Pollard’s performance demonstrated his dominance over the world’s top bowlers. Rashid Khan, who is notoriously difficult to play against with the ball in hand, was the victim of Pollard’s relentless attack.
