ICC ODI Rankings

On Wednesday, the International Cricket Council finally released the latest ICC ODI rankings, and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and South Africa opener Quinton de Kock have made major gains.

Rohit Sharma has made a huge gain ahead of India’s fourth World Cup game, which is against Bangladesh. The Indian cricket team has kickstarted the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 on a high note as they have won all three contests they have played so far in the tournament. While the batters are looking in amazing form, the Indian bowlers are giving everyone a run for their money.

Meanwhile, the Indian captain has been in some amazing form off-lately. Rohit, who was in 11th place last week, has jumped five spots and he now ranks 6th in the batters’ chart with 719 rating points to his name.

However, Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli has dropped down a bit according to the latest rankings. Virat has gone down from 7th to joint-eight in the tally as he is sharing the position with England’s Dawid Malan on 711 ratings.

Babar Azam Continues To Be Number 1 ODI Player:

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has extended his lead on top of the batters’ chart, on the other hand, Shubman Gill lost a few ratings to stay in second with 818 points.

Talking about bowlers, Aussie star Josh Hazlewood is at the top of the bowlers’ chart with 660 ratings. Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan leads the all-rounders’ tally from Mohammad Nabi with 343 ratings, 43 more than Nabi.
